CIOs should look to start-ups for new ideas

These are companies in various stages of development - from building their proofs of concept to seeking customers; they range from companies in the early stages of raising seed funding in the hundreds of thousands of dollars to pitching for heftier venture capital investment. But they all share one point in common: they are keen to re-think existing models of how to do business. They are keen to challenge the status-quo and simultaneously solve existing problems.
