Whats Hong Kongs weak link in information security?

Jared Heng | Oct. 22, 2008
Such incidences reflect the inadequacy of technology alone to ensure information security.

So far, Im glad that such incidences do not frequently occur in Singapore. At least, thats the impression I get from the low number of disclosed incidents by organisations here.

Its especially critical for businesses like banks and healthcare organisations to maintain customer confidence by ideally having a clean security record. But even when incidences do occur, minimising damage to customers and taking strong steps to ensure they do not repeat themselves is just as crucial. As a service consumer myself, I would want my confidential information to be safe, no matter what the cost.
