The ASSIST4 Billing-- which can be used as an on-premises or cloud solution --supports the entire billing process from automated price and cost calculation to invoicing and internal cost allocation.

The software automates the entire billing process. It retrieves data about services rendered from all operational systems like warehouse management systems, customs software and ERP system. The software also uses price schemes with price components that contain scales or rules to calculate the neccesarry settlement items. It also compiles invoices that can be forwarded via an interface directly to financial accounting or save to the system as print-ready invoices, in accordance with user specifications.

Additionally, the basis for calculation can be fully configured to meet the individual needs of company. As such, price scales can be entered in currencies defined by the company like weight, package types, commodity codes or areas. This software also processes the price-related information in any kind of data format.

Aside from that, it calculates value-added tax (VAT) if required and takes into account the varying tax rates for different countries. The software can also determine the VAT code required for accounting as well as cost centres. It compiles invoices and transmits them to the accounting system in required format.  The ASSIST4 Billing also creates settlement items for periodic fees.

The software has also a price calculator allowing the company to get ad hoc price information whenever it is needed.
