The suite also makes it easier for developers to create solutions for a connected world.

Obtaining insights from the massive amount of data expected from connected devices may not necessarily be an arduous task after all.

With Bosch IoT Suite 2.0, data analysts can easily examine and evaluate the huge amounts of data from IoT applications using its integrated data mining and data analytics technology from  "Sensors, devices, customer master data and process data can now be analysed within one platform," said Dr Stefan Ferber, vice president engineering at Bosch Software Innovations.  "[This enables] our customers and partners to come up with completely new data-based solutions in future."

The suite presents data in a graphical model too, according to Bosch. This allows users without extensive IT skills to transform and analyse the data for forecasts and product or service customisation too.

Besides analysts, application developers will also benefit from the Bosch IoT Suite 2.0. The suite can be easily integrated into devices and third party systems, and makes defining and implementing necessary process and rules for new or optimised business models user-friendly.  This is facilitated through the close integration of the suite's components including device management, business process management, business rules management and big data processing.

Now available globally, Bosch IoT Suite 2.0 was previously known as Bosch Software Innovations Suite.
