CIO Asia is now welcoming nominations for its CIO Awards 2017.
These awards honour Asian companies — namely from Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Indonesia — that have broken new ground in using IT to deliver competitive advantage and enable business growth.
Five organisations will be crowned the winners of the Awards for their outstanding projects in the areas of Innovation, Transformation, Leadership, Growth and Performance.
Even though only one entry per nominee will be considered, a nominee may be a separate business unit within the same organisation, with separate P&L responsibilities.
Nominations from a third party — such as IT vendor supporting a company's business project or a business partner of the nominee — are accepted too. However, they must focus on the management of the IT project instead of products/technologies. The given contact persons (CIO or another IT manager) from the nominated organisation must also be willing to verify all details given in the form submitted by the nominating third-party.
CIO Asia's editorial team will assess all entries on a range of criteria such as demonstrating best practice in IT and project management, business and technology innovation, increases in stakeholder and customer value, cost management and quantifiable ROI.
Winners will be feted at the CIO conference 2017, which will run in six cities mentioned above, from February next year.
