Dell recently forged a partnership with a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications in India to strengthen its hold in the midmarket segment.
With the partnership with Ramco Systems, Dell will be strengthening its Software-as-a-Service (Saas) solutions with Ramco's ERP cloud solution.
Ramco Systems, with headquarters in Chennai, India, has end-to-end ERP solution on the cloud that can streamline companies' operations with functionalities such as
HR, supply chain management (SCM), customer relationship management (CRM), and financial management.
Ramco said its ERP-as-a-service on cloud solution allows midmarket enterprises to adopt ERP functionalities with ease and at affordable rates. Its solution also allows customisation and integration with other business applications, including provisions for mobile platforms.
Commenting on the partnership, a Dell executive said Ramco's strengths in cloud-based ERP fits into Dell's strategy to grow its presence in the midmarket segment.
