More to follow in other countries this 2014

The first hybris/SAP combined support  centre in the world has recently opened in Shanghai and more are expected to be opened in other countries this 2014.

A press statement by the Swiss vendor that has positioned itself as a provider of commerce  platform solutions said the support centre forms part of the Active Global Support Group within SAP with hybirs and SAP engineers collaborating closely to support customers in China and elsewhere in the world.

Customer support will be 24 x 7 with hybris and SAP  engineers  occupying the same offices for the very first time and working as an integrated team.

The statement said the next hybris/SAP combined support centre will open in Dublin, Ireland Q1 2014 with others in Sao Paolo, Brazil and other countries in the world to open also this year.

The vendor of what it calls commerce platforms is based in Zug, Switzerland and was acquired in August 2013 by SAP AG.

As such, hybris is now a SAP subsidiary.
