IASA will set up regional hub in Malaysia

The global professional body of software architects said it has chosen Malaysia for its Asia Pacific headquarters following a strong collaboration with MDeC.

He said IASA's IT Architecture certification has been included in the MSC Malaysia Professional Development Programme, an initiative aimed at raising the international capability standards of local companies.

"In addition, IASA will be working together with MDeC for the next IT Architecture Regional Conference, which is slated to be held in Kuala Lumpur during MDeC ICT week held in October 2011," said Badlisham. "Both organisations are already currently working on a more developed enhancement programme for MSC Malaysia companies on enterprise architecture principles."

Established in 2002, The International Association of Software Architects (IASA) advances best practices and education to the architecture profession.
