Enabled through IDA's partnership with Surbana Jurong and Lendlease.

Technology startups in Singapore accredited through Accreditation@IDA (A@IDA) now have an access to larger infrastructure and urban development projects locally and globally.

This is following the two Memorandum of Intents (MOIs) signed by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and infrastructure and property firms, Surbana Jurong and Lendlease.

Surbana Jurong provides consultancy for urbanisation and infrastructure development with projects in Africa, Middle East, and Asia. IDA said the partnership allows their accredited companies to participate in masterplanning projects by Surbana Jurong. Two of such of projects -- Evercomm (an energy analytics company), and Sense Infosys (a data analytics company) -- are already in discussions with the consultancy provider to explore integration into "Smart City in a Box", which brings various smart solutions together.

Meanwhile, Lendlease provides property services such as development works, investment management, project management for construction and asset management. With the partnership, the accredited companies' solutions will be explored to be used for existing and future projects for Lendlease in Singapore, as well as overseas markets in Asia Pacific and Australia.

"Innovation is part of Lendlease's heritage and how we work. Through this strategic partnership, we look forward to collaborating with accredited technology companies for innovative solutions that go towards creating the best places," said Richard Paine, Managing Director, Paya Lebar Quarter, Lendlease, in a press release.

Lendlease is also in discussion with technology providers under the IDA Accreditation portfolio for solutions ranging from video analytics to energy management. Additionally, they have created a sandbox environment for trial at Lendlease.

"Accreditation@IDA helps promising local tech companies by recognising the quality of their tech solutions and making it easier for them to access new markets in the government and enterprise sectors. Partnerships such as with Surbana Jurong and Lendlease help companies seize new opportunities not only in Singapore but globally as well. We look forward to securing more partnerships with industry players to help companies innovate, grow and contribute to Singapore's economy," said Gabriel Lim, co-Managing Director of IDA.
