During the Malaysia leg of the regional roadshow called Infor on the Road, the enterprise applications and services provider has confirmed its plan to achieve double-digit growth in ASEAN during the next three years.
Speaking in Kuala Lumpur, Infor ASEAN vice president, Helen Masters, said, "Malaysian manufacturing, logistics and other businesses are expanding rapidly and are increasingly looking for better insight into internal operations and costs as well as the foresight to enable better planning."
"At Infor on the Road Malaysia, local business leaders are telling us they are keen to find out how the latest software breakthroughs can take their businesses to the next level of competitiveness," Masters said. "In particular, they are also interested in how Infor can help them be GST-compliant by April 2015."
She said that with a central location within the ASEAN region of more than 500 million people, Malaysia is well positioned to offer "vast opportunities for global, regional and local companies to set up manufacturing and distribution operations in the country."
"Established in 1994, Infor Malaysia plays a key role in helping achieve Infor's long-term global growth and we remain firm in our commitment to providing technology that is beautiful, easy-to-use, and designed to speed performance, " added Masters.
Infor on the Road KL featured four tracks and 12 educational sessions for customers with a panel discussion that features best practices and information from Infor customers. The Malaysia event also included a partner summit with existing and potential local Infor partners.
