Asian systems integrator JOS has partnered with business analytics software provider Tableau to serve customers across the region.
Alliance with Tableau allows JOS to leverage innovative, emerging technology to offer customised solutions that tap into the potential of big data in Asia.
This is relevant because in its 2011 report, McKinsey noted that big data would boost productivity by making information more transparent and usable.
JOS has strengthened its big data capabilities by appointing experts, investing in new solutions and partnering with companies such as Tableau.
"JOS's partnership with Tableau reinforces our pledge to bring emerging technology to customers and our vision to be the most trusted partner to businesses and governments across Asia," said JOS Group managing director Mark Lunt.
Rapid-fire visual analytics
JOS and Tableau recently demonstrated how rapid-fire visual analytics can benefit decision-makers in businesses and governments locally.
This demonstration showcased the speed and ease with which Tableau's approach to visual analytics delivers crucial insights rapidly. Business leaders are thus able to make better informed, evidence-based decisions.
The mutually beneficial partnership will enable JOS's customers to access a good analytics software and a holistic, easy-to-use business intelligence solution.
"Tableau is on a mission to help more people see and understand their data," said Tableau Asia Pacific senior vice president JY Pook. "Through our partnership with JOS, we will reach, engage and empower even more enterprises to fully realise the tremendous business value from their data."
