Marina Mandarin Singapore has simplified business processes and improved employee productivity with Canon Managed Document Services (MDS).
Since the hotel runs many departments with a huge amount of administration and paperwork, it was searching for a solution that could help them streamline all their print and document workflow processes.
There were also times when employees were not able to collect their printouts immediately. When they finally did manage to get printouts, they had to deal with missing documents, leading them to send the print job again by returning to their work stations. This time consuming process also led to the wastage of paper and toner.
The hotel's management thus made an imperative commitment to adopt Canon Managed Document Services (MDS) to improve the efficiency of its daily operations.
Before deploying the solution, Canon's MDS team discussed the changes with the hotel management staff and obtained buy-in from users by ensuring that all their concerns were addressed. The team then designed a comprehensive print and document workflow strategy before swiftly executing it to ensure a seamless transition and minimal disruption to the hotel's operations.
According to the hotel, the turnkey solution has thus far improved business operations. Print jobs can be collected at any print devices on any floor and at any location in the hotel, but without compromising security.
