MuleSoft has appointed William Fu as its Regional Vice President of Asia.
In his role, he will lead the company's sales operations for the Southeast Asia and Greater China region, and be responsible for developing the market and driving growth through channel partnerships. He will be based in Singapore and report to the company's Vice President of Asia Pacific Will Bosma.
Before joining MuleSoft, Fu was once the Sales Director for Asia Pacific and Japan for Actuate Corporation, and the General Manager of Southeast Asia at Experian Decision Analytics. He has also held senior sales leadership roles at FICO, IBM and SAS.
Headquartered in San Francisco, MuleSoft provides an integration platform that enables organisations to connect their applications and data through API-led connectivity, both in the cloud and on-premise. The company entered the Asia Pacific market in 2013, and currently has more than 130 customers in the region. Its customers come from various industries including the financial services, public sector, communications, healthcare and retail.
"Asian businesses are [now] responding to the same key forces that are powering innovation in other parts of the world, including cloud, mobile and big data. MuleSoft is at the center of these trends, enabling CIOs and IT leaders to harness new technologies and take on big transformation initiatives through API-led connectivity. MuleSoft's value proposition for Asia is compelling as businesses figure out how to operate in a digital economy powered by cloud, mobile and legacy technologies," said Fu.
"Fu brings strong regional understanding, execution capability and a proven track record of building strong, sustainable businesses in Asia. He will play a key role in taking MuleSoft to the next level as the company continues to accelerate its growth in the region," said Bosma.
