Parallels -a cross-platform software solutions provider - has named Jerry Huang as its Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific region.
Based in Singapore, Huang succeeds Eugenio Ferrante, who has led the company's regional growth to new heights over the past few years and will be taking on a new role at Parallels.
In his new role, Huang will be responsible for growing the strong Asia Pacific demand for Parallels cross-platform software solutions. This includes Parallels Desktop for Mac - the software enabling Windows apps to run on a Mac - and Parallels Remote Application Server - an integrated solution for virtual Windows application and desktop delivery to any device, anywhere.
Before joining Parallels, Huang was Microsoft's devices sales lead for Asia Pacific. In that role, he worked closely with country sales and technical teams to support corporate customers' efforts in building enterprise mobility capability with Microsoft technology and devices.
He has also served in various leadership roles at Apple, Nokia, HP, Compaq and Lotus.
