SAP today announced the launch of the Analytics Plus Program in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
The enterprise software company hopes to boost the business of its customers by providing increased insight and analysis into its data sources. The data sources include the company's own SAP HANA and Apache's Hadoop among others.
The Analytics Plus Program will allow SAP customers to "trade-in" their existing licences for SAP's BusinessObjects and switch to BusinessObjects Business Intelligence 4.0 which was also announced today.
The newly launched feature pack 3 for the 4.0 release of SAP BusinessObjects provides updates in big data, mobile, integration, insights and social, according to the announcement. The pack is now generally available in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
