MANILA, PHILIPPINES, 15 APRIL 2011 - With most services already available on the cloud, a printing solutions company is offering what it calls an industry first that will complement other applications available on the cloud.
InfoPrint Solutions Company, a Ricoh company, said it will soon be offering in the Asia Pacific region secure document printing services that will be available through cloud computing.
Targeted at mid-sized companies, its new Managed Automated Document Factory (ADF) Services is aimed at reducing IT overhead. The service is based on a turnkey solution complete with proven security and reliability features that can scale when the need arises.
And with the region enforcing strict compliance on regional and international standards, InfoPrint said its managed services will make it easy for mid-sized companies to comply without breaking the bank.
InfoPrint Solutions said its Managed ADF Services will also ensure companies of "a high integrity, operationally efficient, lower cost print environment," allowing companies to focus on their main business.
InfoPrint claims the service is "a first in the transactional print industry to be powered by the cloud" and the first among many cloud-based services that it will be offering in the market.
Lesley Wylie, director of Global Marketing, InfoPrint Solutions, said the services will help companies "reduce IT overhead while ensuring a high integrity, operationally efficient print environment".
