An agreement between US-based business communications firm ShoreTel and Malaysian IP networking and telephony specialist Infinite Data will offer simple premise and cloud-based business systems with integrated unified communications (UC) to partners and customers in the country.
"We are excited to be working with Infinite Data in Malaysia," said ShoreTel's managing director, Asia and South Africa, Bruce Downing. "Although relatively new to the Malaysian market, Infinite Data has established an impressive portfolio of vendor partners in a short space of time, and boasts a very strong reseller and technical skills base to support ShoreTel's unified communications and contact centre solutions."
"Infinite Data's rapid growth is a great match for ShoreTel's growth in Asia, which is expected to continue over the next 12 months," said Downing, adding that ShoreTel's deeper expansion has been underpinned by agreements with value-added distributors in seven countries: China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Singapore.
"ShoreTel now has a presence in 10 countries across Asia," he said. "Most recently, ShoreTel opened its inaugural Indian office and added Transition Systems as its first Indian distributor."
According to Infinite Data vice president of business & solutions, Eric Guan the company will give resellers the ability to offer stand-alone ShoreTel products, as well as fully integrated, multi-vendor solutions designed to best meet customer needs.
"For Infinite Data, ShoreTel offers a compelling value proposition in all areas," said Guan. "It's a perfect complement for our existing vendor portfolio - ShoreTel's unified communications and contact centre products are based on a robust technology platform, the solutions demonstrate great ease of use and the industry's best total cost of ownership, and ShoreTel's partner programme provides great returns and incentives to our resellers."
ShoreTel, Inc. is a provider of business communication solutions with simple unified communications platforms, applications and mobile UC solution.
