Hyperconvergence will be a norm in future: SimpliVity

Nurdianah Md Nur | June 8, 2015
Doron Kempel, Chairman and CEO of SimpliVity, talks about how hyperconvergence will help enterprises future-proof their business.

How will the hyperconverged infrastructure space evolve in time to come?
Hyperconverged infrastructure will transform the world of IT. Everybody will run hyperconverged systems and it is probably going to be about 80 percent of IT in the next 10 years.

What's next for SimpliVity?
We have plans to be in Japan by this year but the adoption of virtualisation there is slightly slower compared to other parts in the region. Data protection is very important for the Japanese and it is one of the advantages of our offerings-- hence, we will offer data virtualisation for that market.

I would also like to see our technology becoming the catalyst for adoption of virtualisation there. We have a platform to help companies looking to virtualise much more seamlessly compared to the legacy stack.  Similarly in Australia, our first customer that we announced was a customer that went virtual for the first time through our platform.

SimpliVity still has a lot of work as we need to continue to develop our technology, ensure we sign the right partners, and continue to support our customers globally.
