Open Text Corp. has launched a new data centre in Tokyo and another in Osaka.
A press statement by the Ontario-based provider of enterprise information management solutions said the two data centres will provide support for its customers in Japan and the Asia-Pacific for its Open Text Trading Grid and Open Text managed services.
It explained that these facilities operating in tandem, will enable customers across Japan and the Asia-Pacific to access enterprise-class cloud computing services and applications.
It further said customers within the region will have enhanced data sovereignty and enhanced service continuity of a local computing infrastructure, with all data and information residing in Japan.
The press statement described the Open Text Trading Grid as a B2B integration platform powered by the OpenText Cloud.
