Eyeing Malaysia’s global eCommerce vision, UTAR forms industry alliance

Students and teachers at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman will be equipped to take advantage of global eCommerce opportunities, said UTAR President Dato’ Dr Chuah Hean Teik.

"By partnering with an influential local university like UTAR, we hope to broaden our reach to current and future business decision makers in Malaysia and build their capability and confidence in online trade," he said.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Wang Hu, Malaysia country manager of Alibaba, and UTAR Vice President for Internationalisation and Academic Development Prof Ir Dr Ewe Hong Tat.

Established in 2002, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) offers more than 110 programmes to more than 26,000 students in its nine faculties, three institutes and three centres located in the Sungai Long Campus and Kampar Campus.
