hybris 4.6 launched in Singapore

Solution aids companies to sell products via the Internet, smartphones, social media and Internet TV.

hybris Software has announced the launch of hybris 4.6 in Singapore.

This application from the German provider of multichannel commerce and communication software is completely programming language independent, and can commerce-enable any device, application or channel outside of the hybris Multichannel Suite. 

The solution is loaded with a full range of standardised features to support businesses to increase conversion rates and grow revenue.

hybris 4.6 was introduced in China in March 2012 and is already making a name in the United States and Europe.

"The introduction of the hybris 4.6 is its first foray into Southeast Asia and we expect to do very well in Southeast Asia especially in the retail, manufacturing, consumer brands and telecommunications industries," said Ariel Lüdi, CEO of hybris. "E-commerce rates are growing in this market, and we want to help enterprises maximise their offerings."

Emergence of NFC

Near Field Communications (NFC) technology is growing in popularity and Singapore is making efforts to be at the forefront in this industry.

Hybris will use Singapore as a launch-pad to market the system in Southeast Asia, according to Burghardt Groeber, vice president of Asia Pacific, hybris.

The company expects users to appreciate the features of hybris 4.6 that delivers out-of-the-box integration with Google Commerce Search, and enables businesses to utilise Google's latest innovations in search and navigation technology.

Sapient, arvato systems and iGATE Patni are local implementation partners for hybris 4.6 in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
