PLDT partners Bayad Centre to provide online bills payment platform for overseas Filipinos

The partnership allows overseas Filipinos to make direct payment for their bills in the Philippines.

Filipinos abroad can now pay their bills in the Philippines though an online facility.

This is in line with the partnership between PLDT, through its International Marketing, Sales and Operating arm PLDT Global Corp. (PGC), and Bayad Centre.

"We are relentless in our pursuit of improving the lives of our overseas Filipinos, and this partnership will now allow them to directly and securely settle their typical family bills over the Internet, which is very similar to how they did before - as if they never left home," said PLDT and Smart EVP and Head of Enterprise, International, and Carrier Business, Eric Alberto.

By logging in to, overseas Filipinos can now pay their bills to accredited biller companies of Bayad Centre like Meralco, Maynilad, Visayan Electric Company, Davao Light, PLDT, Bayantel, Digitel, Smart, Cignal, Manila Water, Laguna Water District, and PAG-IBIG Fund.

"This Bayad Centre online bills payment facility is one of the enhancements in the Smart Pinoy Store. With the addition of Bayad Centre under Smart Pinoy Store, the online portal continues to expand its offerings while cementing its leadership as a one-stop overseas Pinoy retail store," said PGC President Alex Caeg.

The Smart Pinoy Store is a web-based retail store for overseas Filipinos worldwide.
