VDSL2 Vectoring, G.fast and TWDM-PON are important elements in the evolution of broadband. The latter demonstrates why FTTH remains the ultimate goal for ultra fast broadband - economically and operationally. G.fast's value is the creation of choice. Used to complement FTTH, VDSL2 Vectoring and G.fast provide service providers with useful options to deliver more bandwidth to more people - faster and more cost effectively. This means getting more speed out of existing copper assets while continuing to deploy FTTH where it makes economic sense.
