Malaysia's ICT solutions provider Hitachi Sunway Information Systems (Hitachi Sunway) and India's Tata Communications have partnered to help enterprises in the Asean region with their digitisation plans.
Cheah Kok Hoong, group chief executive officer and director of Hitachi Sunway (pic below) said the arrangement allows Hitachi Sunway to provide its more than 1000 enterprise customers in Asean with access to Tata Communications' portfolio of Managed Network Services, Managed Security Services and Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) offerings.
Cheah said the company was honoured to be Tata Communications' chosen partner. "With Tata Communications on board, we will be able to strengthen our network services offerings throughout the region by offering a wide range of globally recognised telecommunication products and managed services."
He said, "Customers cannot expect to access a variety of solutions for MPLS, cloud security and more. At the same time, Tata Communications will be able to extend their influence in the region through our wide network of customers that span across the region."
Sumeet Walia, head, Global Enterprise Business, Tata Communications, said, "In the past year, Tata Communications has continued to invest in a broad range of service expansions, introducing new advanced managed services built on our strong network presence in the emerging and developed markets."

One stop centre vision
Hitachi Sunway's Cheah said the company already operated in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Myanmar, offering a range of services including enterprise resource planning (ERP), product lifecycle management (PLM), IT infrastructure, data centre and cloud solutions, network solutions and more.
