Microsoft's Office 365 Personal, a new consumer subscription offering for Office 365, is now available in Asia Pacific.
The software company announced the availability of this offering today, adding that Office 365 Personal is designed for smaller households or individual users with single PC and tablet devices, but comes with the familiar features of Office in the cloud to subscribers.
Office 365 Personal lets users install the latest full desktop version of Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access, on one PC or one Mac, as well as one tablet device (including iPad) to be connected to the service.
Office 365 Personal will be available a suggested annual subscription rate of US$69.99 per annum or US$6.99 per month, the company said in a statement.
Microsoft also said it will continue to offer Office 365 Home Premium subscription for households, now rebranded as Office 365 Home from today. With an annual subscription rate of US$99.99 per year or US$9.99 per month1, Office 365 Home is perfect for households with multiple devices, where it can be installed in up to five PCs or Macs and selected mobile devices (including iPad).
