Anuradha Shukla | July 31, 2013
Announces results for the first quarter of financial year 2013-14.

The results for Ramco’s first quarter of financial year 2013-14 show the encouraging market interest for its newly launched Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.

The enterprise software company announced the global launch of Ramco HCM on Cloud this quarter and intends to leverage this interest to expand its cloud footprint.

Ramco HCM on Cloud is a comprehensive HR & Talent Management solution featuring multi-country payroll, Gen-Y Interface, role-based WorkSpaces and In-memory engine.

This quarter the company signed customers across India, Asia Pacific and the Middle East and received demand for HCM across markets.

“While aviation and our core ERP offerings continue to grow, the market interest for the newly launched HCM solutions on the cloud is encouraging. We hope to capitalise on this to further strengthen our position on the cloud,” said P R Venketrama Raja, vice chairman & managing director, Ramco Systems.

Partnership with Eurocopter

This quarter Ramco signed strategic partnership with Eurocopter to offer cloud-based maintenance information systems for helicopters.

The company registered a 27 percent year-on-year growth and recorded global revenues of US$10.82 million for the quarter ended 30 June 2013.

India contributed 37 percent to this growth and contribution from markets outside India continued to show steady growth.

In addition to all these achievements, Ramco also appointed six senior executives to give a boost to delivery, implementation and field sales force across geographies.

“The year 2013-14 has started on a good note with the signing of a strategic pact with Eurocopter, a world leader in helicopter manufacturing. This has further strengthened our position in the aviation market globally,” said Venketrama Raja.
