Accenture has announced plans to hire 150 technology people for its Newcastle delivery centre by the end of August 2015.
The consultancy is looking for staff with all levels of application development skills in Java programming and digital technologies to develop, test and manage IT applications for its clients across a range of industries.
"We're looking for highly motivated individuals with digital and programming skills who share our passion for serving clients," said Bob Paton, managing director at Accenture's Newcastle delivery centre.
"IT professionals who join our team will have access to the latest technology and will receive training and professional development opportunities to expand their business, industry and technical skills."
Accenture recently hired 20 people in its Newcastle site as part of its UK technology apprenticeship programme.
