Asian banks need to step up their network security: Ixia

Banks should first understand and have visibility of their networks before investing in network security solutions.

For one, they should be able to assess the vulnerability of the organisation's network. Next, they should be able to know what to do in the event of a cyber attack in terms of mitigation and recovery. Besides that, they should possess digital forensics skills such as network forensics, in which the network traffic is monitored and analysed for the purpose of information gathering, legal evidence and/or intrusion detection.
