Avaya announces new Asia Pacific executive appointments

Ray Teske to drive APAC Service Provider and Global Alliances team and Lee Chong-Win to lead Southeast Asian Sales as Managing Director, ASEAN

Avaya has enhanced its Asia Pacific Leadership Team with two new additions. While Ray Teske will assume leadership of a Service Provider and Global Alliances business across the Asia Pacific geography, Lee Chong-Win has been appointed the new Managing Director, ASEAN for Avaya.

According to the provider of business communications and collaboration systems and services, Teske will be working predominantly with APAC Service Providers on bringing to market cloud-based communication capabilities and solutions for businesses across the region. Teske has over 20 years of experience in the communications industry and was most recently Managing Director for the ASEAN business at Avaya.

Lee will be responsible for continuing to drive growth in this dynamic and varied market, with a focus on the core countries of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam while growing Avaya's business and presence in Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos, said the company in a statement. He most recently led the Customer Experience Management business in APAC.

These appointments are effective immediately, said the company. Teske and Lee continue to be based in Bangkok and Singapore respectively.
