Beyond Analysis announces operations lead for Malaysia, Singapore

Customer insights firm's new GM Michael Hawkins, formerly of SAS Malaysia, said the time is right to increase the use of big data analytics for both small and large Asian businesses.

Customer insights firm Beyond Analysis said it has strengthened its Asian leadership team with the appointment of Michael Hawkins as new general manager of the company's operations and activities in Malaysia and Singapore.

Beyond Analysis group chief executive officer, Paul Alexander, said: "Michael has a proven track record and considerable experience in both consumer insight and big data and will be an asset to our team at Beyond Analysis. We are absolutely delighted to have him on board to lead the region through its next phase of growth and evolution."

"The world of big data and analytics has so much potential for businesses both large and small in Asia," said Hawkins. "The challenge here has always been how to take the first steps in putting data assets to good use."

"I think the time is right to bring to Asia even more of the magic that Beyond Analysis has already created using data, both here and across the world," he said.

Hawkins has 17 years' experience working in consumer, shopper and retail insight both in the UK and in Malaysia. Most recently, Michael worked as an independent consultant for companies including SAS Malaysia, where he headed the Customer Intelligence practice.

Beyond Analysis, architects of the C-DNA solution, use big data analytics to develop customer insights and targeted loyalty programmers.
