Canon announces Malaysian roadshow

Digital imaging and printing solutions provider Canon Marketing (Malaysia) is to show its latest products with a showcase - Eye on Canon - in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Speaking on 16 April 2012, Canon Marketing (Malaysia) director, imaging communication products division, Simon Wong said the company's latest portfolio of cameras, camcorders and printers would be shown at Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur from 25 - 29 April 2012, and also in Gurney Plaza, Penang,  1 - 6 May.

"This year's Eye On Canon showcase promises to be a memorable one as we celebrate Canon's 25th year of establishment in Malaysia and still going strong," said Wong. "To commemorate Canon's success, we will be displaying a line-up of Canon cameras that has been introduced to Malaysians in our 25 years of operations here. There will also be exciting promotions, discounts, instant cash rebates of up to 25 percent on selected models, Purchase-With-Purchase (PWP) for lenses on selected EOS models and lucky draws with Canon products worth RM10,000 [US$3,258] awaiting visitors at this showcase of the year."

He said that as well as the 25 percent discounts other special promotions lined up in conjunction with Canon Malaysia's 25th anniversary include exciting RM25 [US$8.15] deals that are limited to only 25 units of selected camera models.

"The first 100 early birds to purchase selected Canon EOS model at the Eye on Canon showcase will be receiving Canon's limited edition miniature Hansa Camera, the very first commercial camera produced by Canon in 1936," said Wong. "In addition, with every purchase of any Legria model, consumers will receive a complimentary copy of Yuna's latest DVD album."

"To celebrate Canon as one of the official global sponsors of the UEFA EURO 2012, any purchase of a Canon camera will receive exclusive UEFA Euro 2012 merchandises as well as meet Canon ambassadors Simon Yam and Penny Tan," he said.
