Sophos company Cyberoam Malaysia has launched an enhanced interactive virtual training portal for its partners to build better deployment practices, said the networking security specialist.
Cyberoam Malaysia country manager Pauline Jacintha said the training is accessible 24x7, free-of-cost from a connected device anywhere and allows the learner to self-determine the pace.
The new training content has been built using behaviour modelling to offer augmented learning, said Jacintha, adding that partners could interact with Cyberoam instructors to get live answers.
She said the new platform would positively impact the company's operations in Malaysia. "It's another step to produce significantly higher number of adept Cyberoam certified security professionals to support growth and expansion in Malaysia. The current crop of CCNSPs in the country stands at around 500, which shall grow exponentially with this initiative."
Cyberoam's head of global presales operations, Ajay Nawani, said: "The new platform will significantly enhance the ability of our partners to deploy and manage Cyberoam security for demanding deployment scenarios. Interactive training aids and realistic simulations provide real-world account of deployments, so that partners can manage Cyberoam security exactly as they've trained."
The company is focusing on training as a crucial strategic measure to increase business, said Jacintha, adding that the high definition training content includes short interactive video modules with the option to pause at one's chosen point and restart from there later, demonstration of all lab exercises, an online handbook, and the convenience of creating one's own lab using Cyberoam's virtual appliances.
Those interested in availing the training can register at Cyberoam eConnect Portal.
