KUALA LUMPUR - Digital imaging firm Epson has launched a new version if its iOS App that allows Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch owners to print to any wireless Epson printer.
Epson Malaysia general manager of sales & marketing Danny Lee said on 19 July 2011 that the new version allowed users to print and scan photos, web pages, PDF and Microsoft Office files as well to share these files. "Users can even scan, save and share their files. The new app also supports online cloud services like Box.net, Dropbox, Evernote and Google Docs. This makes Epson's iPrint the most capable Apple iOS printing app from any printer vendor currently available."
"The new Epson iPrint 2.0 app offers fun and useful capabilities including the ability to print to any nearby wireless Epson printer, giving Apple device owners the freedom to print virtually anything they want to."
Epson iPrint (v2.0) is free and available worldwide at the Apple App Store.
