Ericsson has named Martin Wiktorin as its new President and Country Manager of Singapore and Brunei, effective 1 January 2016.
Wiktorin comes to the position with 15 years of Ericsson global experience, having held senior and executive leadership roles across both North East Asia and Europe.
His experience includes serving as the Vice President for System Solutions in China, leading Ericsson's Radio Systems Business in Eastern Europe and overseeing the company's Mobile Switching Business in Sweden. Most recently, he was Head of Ericsson Korea and President and CEO of Ericsson-LG Co. Ltd, in North East Asia.
"Singapore and Brunei are amongst the most mature ICT markets in the South East Asia and Oceania region and play a crucial role in Ericsson's business development. I'm excited to take on this challenge and to have the opportunity to lead such a talented team. We are absolutely committed to helping our existing customers and new customer segments in Singapore and Brunei innovate and create solutions for their end users, to further enable our vision of the Networked Society in both markets," said Wiktorin.
