Application delivery network (ADN) firm F5 Networks wants to speed up the growth of the advanced ADN market in Malaysia, during the announcement of a new country manager for Malaysia.

"Through the F5 global sales strategy, the company has a fantastic opportunity to expand its customer base with its strong Application Delivery Networking value propositions, and to help the local team drive F5's next phase of growth in Malaysia," said the new Malaysia country manager, Kevin Chin, who has worked at Teradata, IBM and CA Technologies

Speaking during the company's first Malaysian F5 Agility Forum 2011, Chin added: "At the conference, F5 shared our expertise with Malaysian audiences to deliver information about managing mobile access to data and services while keeping the applications and network secure from attacks, whether the applications are deployed in physical, virtual or cloud environments."

The F5 Agility 2011 Forum is held globally. In Asia Pacific, the forum includes South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Australia.
