Geek Team Asia to provide tech support to StarHub customers

The IT services and support company will provide in-person and remote IT support services for all tech products in the home.

Geek Team Asia — an IT services and support company headquartered in Singapore—is collaborating with Singapore's telco StarHub to provide consumers in the republic with end-to-end tech support.

Through this partnership, all StarHub customers are entitled to in-person and remote IT support services for all tech products in the home at a discounted rate from now till 31 January 2015. Services include device set up, troubleshooting, data backup and retrieval, email set up, software upgrades, and network configuration.

Beth Ann Lim, co-founder of Geek Team Asia, said in a press statement dated 17 November 2014 that this partnership will address customers' need for IT support when they are at home. "Our customers have on average five devices in the home [...but] there is a gap in finding support when something goes wrong. We have therefore collaborated [with StarHub] to build specific offerings to address market needs."
