Internet search giant Google has appointed Malaysian Internet marketing agency Locus-T as a Google Adwords Premier SME Partner [PSP] effective from 1st January 2015.

Commenting on the appointment, Locus-T head of sales Joseph Ting said Locus-T "is the only Internet Marketing Agency in Malaysia to have ISO 9001:2008 QMS certification, was a winner the SME100 2014 Award and has worked with more than 1000 clients from different sized companies as well as various industries."

"We are extremely pleased to have been appointed as a Google AdWords Premier SME Partner, which affirms our position as the leading pioneer experts in internet marketing as well as web development and e-commerce in Malaysia," said Ting.

"It marks a new phase in our business development as the appointment will open many doors allowing us to share our services with an even wider audience of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME)," he said.

"We aim to be the leading integrated online marketing solution provider in the Asia-Pacific region, delivering consistent high-quality online marketing services with exceptional results and excellent customer service," said Ting.

Matthew Heller, head of Google Channel Sales Southeast Asia said:  "We created the Google AdWords Premier SME Partner program to help small businesses connect with hand-picked, highly qualified companies like Locus-T. Businesses will not only benefit from Locus-T's in-depth training, but from their years of experience in the local market."

As an online advertising platform, Google AdWords has been designed to help businesses of all sizes use the web to find new customers by delivering relevant ads when users search for specific products and services, he said.

In addition, the Google AdWords PSP Program connects Google's trusted and experienced AdWords partners with SMEs that require help in creating, managing and optimising their online advertising campaigns.

Premier SME Partners must meet Google's standards and criteria for qualification, transparency, and customer service, which included completing extensive Google product and account management training, he said.
