Independent mobile advertising network InMobi has appointed Jayesh Easwaramony as head of business development, Asia Pacific, the company announced yesterday.

Jayesh joins InMobi from Frost and Sullivan, where he was vice president of the ICT Practice.

"According to InMobi's network research, the Asia Pacific mobile advertising market has grown 19 percent in Q1 2012," said Atul Satija, vice president and managing director of InMobi, Asia Pacific. "While the industry continues to see steady growth, InMobi has expanded its footprint in the region by establishing local teams across key markets. We are delighted to have Jayesh, a seasoned industry and region expert to help us better identify and engage partners and grow our business."
