Brocade has appointed Johnson Chiu to the role of channel director, Asia Pacific (APAC), announced the networking solutions provider.
In this role, Chiu will spearhead partner enablement strategies and programmes designed to grow Brocade IP networking revenues through channel partners across key industry segments in APAC, the company in a statement on Thursday (17 Jan).
Chiu is based in Singapore, and reports directly to Brocade's vice president for APAC, Charlie Foo.
An industry veteran with 27 years of channel leadership experience, Chiu was most recently with NetApp where he led the Channel, Alliance and Marketing organization in the Greater China region. He has also held channel leadership roles at Digital Equipment, Oracle, Symantec and Brocade.
