Juniper Networks appoints new head of APAC business

Hansjoerg Wagner succeeds Douglas Murray

Juniper Networks has appointed Hansjoerg Wagner as senior vice president, Asia Pacific (APAC), the networking company announced on 2 October.

Wagner will be based in Singapore and report to Vince Molinaro, executive vice president, worldwide sales.

According to the company, Wagner will be responsible for all aspects of Juniper's business activities across the Asia Pacific region, including customer engagement, sales development, training and enablement, strategic planning and revenue growth.

He succeeds Douglas Murray, who spent more than two years as senior vice president, APAC.

Wagner is a 20-year veteran in the field and he was most recently at Polycom where he held several senior leadership roles, including president, APAC, and senior vice president, global field operations.
