Customers can now receive updates and be notified of pending payments from their smartwatch.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Singapore (MBFS) -- an automotive finance company under Daimler AG --has announced that its myMBFS app is now fully compatible with the Apple Watch.

myMBFS is a customer online portal that enables existing customers who finance their vehicles with MBFS to access their account information via the website or mobile app. According to MBFS, nearly one in three customers are actively using this portal.

With myMBFS for Apple Watch, customers will be able to view updates on their finance contracts at a glance of their wrists. Despite the small watch face, myMBFS will display information such as the number of remaining payments for an instalment plan and the next payment due date as infographics on the watch face.

Besides that, customers can choose to be notified via the smartwatch whenever a monthly payment is due and successfully completed.

Currently available for free on the iTunes AppStore, myMBFS was developed by Daimler Financial Services and Singaporean app developer Appvantage.
