Based in Sydney, Baker will be responsible for business development and customer account management to address product demand in both the public and private sectors across the region.
"Steven's move to Sydney... comes at a time of transformational growth for the company in this region," NewsGator Asia-Pacific (APAC) business development director, Cuneyt Uysal, said. "How experience and track record in driving sales success is an essential element of our strategy for the region and we are delighted he has taken up this opportunity to expand our business and market presence."
Baker joined NewsGator in 2000 and has worked in the US since. He spent the last three years driving sales within medium-sized business organisations in the country's mid-west.
