Promotion launched to celebrate arrival of HTC One smartphone

Telecommunications provider, Optus, has launched a Qantas Frequent Flyer promotion to reward existing and new customers who move to plans valued $60 or higher with any new smartphone.

Existing Optus postpaid customers who upgrade to $60 or above plans, or recontract existing ones of the same value, will be eligible to receive 8000 bonus QFF points. Customers new to Optus who jump onto the same plans can claim 4000 bonus points.

The QFF offer is valid for purchases made before June 30.

For Optus, the promotion celebrates the launch of HTC's One smartphone, which can be purchased from all Optus retail stores, online, through telesales, and via channel partners.

The device is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, and runs Google Android 4.1. It features a full HD 4.7-inch display with a pixel density of 468dpi. It also has 32GB of internal storage, and 2GB of RAM.
