Malaysian  WiMAX 4G firm Packet One Networks Malaysia (P1) has extended its fibre broadband 40 percent discounted promotion  to Malaysian SMEs to 15th November.

P1 chief executive officer Michael Lai said that the 20Mbps ForBiz Fibre plan, which was launched in early August, at RM199 (US$65) - about 40 percent off the original price of RM329 (US$108) -  per month will be continued until 15 November.

"The extension of the 20Mbps ForBiz Fibre promotion will give more time to more small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grab this super value deal," said Lai. "Every business wants more speed to do more in less time, like a private jet for all your online transactions. It's just that better speed was never at the right price, until now and only for a few weeks more."

He said that with the promotion due to end in less than a month, Malaysian businesses should take advantage of this opportunity to get on the fibre-optic bandwagon while it's affordable and accessible. "Something as simple as better Internet connection makes the world of difference in today's challenging business landscape. We hope that as many SMEs and SOHOs as possible get their fibre broadband at our heavily discounted price while they can."
