Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy S4 smartphone will apparently feature wireless charging.
The Korean tech giant will supposedly be making a wireless charging cover for the Galaxy S4 smartphone and a wireless charging dock, according to DDaily. Both will be sold separately to the handset itself when it launches.
The Galaxy S4 will use the Qi wireless charging standard meaning that users can buy third party docking stations rather than only Samsung's own.
However, DDaily also reports that Samsung was looking into an alternative method of advanced wireless charging technology called resonant magnetic coupling. According to SamMobile this would mean the Galaxy S4 could be charged from up to two meters away.
Unfortunately this ground breaking method was too difficult to bring to market at an affordable price so won't be used just yet.
Rumoured specifications for the yet to be announced Galaxy S4 include an Exynos 5 Octa 8-core processor, 4.9in Full HD screen and a 13Mp camera. It will run the latest version of Android, 4.2 Jelly Bean.
