Electronics giant Samsung has launches a new range of cameras that feature new 'Multiview' category as well as digital convergence technologies for Malaysian consumers.
Themed 'Life, from All Angles', the launch on 18 October 2011 features the Samsung Multiview MV800, which pioneers a new "MultiView" category to enable today's increasingly ambitious camera user to take the perfect shot or portrait from all angles, said Samsung Malaysia Electronics managing director, Kwon Jae Hoon.
"Samsung has always made its best effort to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers," said Kwon. "Our aim is to continually be at the forefront of digital compact and compact system camera innovation. Our breakthrough in the MultiView technology and our other innovations are the embodiment of that goal and will subsequently establish a new benchmark for the industry."
"Building on the success of Samsung 2View technology, this device is the first premium compact model to feature a 3.0' Flip-out Touch Display to allow users to frame the perfect shot or portrait, from any angle," he said, which offered 16.1 megapixels for premium picture quality, along with a 5x optical zoom lens to capture every detail in close-up. The device also features a 26 mm wide-angle lens for capturing larger gatherings in high definition, making it is the ideal camera for premium-quality image capture on the move.
Kwon said the devices included a unique Smart Touch 3.0 with Wallpaper user interface to provide intuitive operation, which allowed drag and scroll through menu options to launch a required feature with only one touch.

"In addition, the NX200 model represents Samsung's continued commitment to leading the way in making cutting-edge technology to fit the needs and knowledge of the consumer, proving technology does not need to be complicated to deliver great results, every time," he said. "With its first-class picture quality through the combination of a best-in-class 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, i-Function 2.0 capabilities and other professional-standard features such as Advanced Auto Focus, the NX200 is the next step in providing the ambitious amateur."
"The WB750 features the longest ever zoom in the company's compact camera portfolio in recognition of the consumer's desire to capture the upmost level of detail," Kwon said. "With an 18x Optical Zoom, 24x Smart-Zoom and 24 mm Ultra Wide Angle Lens, it joins the WB700 as the perfect accessory for today's traveller, guaranteeing a powerful optical performance so users never miss a moment."
