Samsung Malaysia’s new cameras feature digital convergence

Kwon said that the SMX-F700 was the only SD [standard definition] camcorder on the market to offer a CMOS sensor with progressive (1280x720) recording, at 30 or 25 frames per second for PAL system respectively. "With the SMX-F700, Samsung innovation builds premium quality recording technology and high-end features into a compact and affordable device that all the family can use and enjoy, year after year."

"SMX-F700 also allows HD recording to capture videos with intense details," he said. "Besides that, it features a powerful 65x intelli-zoom and 52x optical zoom Schneider Kreuznach lens so that every detail can be picked up, even when focusing on a distant background scene."
