Zafirah Salim | Sept. 3, 2015
The cloud company has recently named Brian Parkinson as its new Chief Operating Officer, and Kenneth Lim as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

Singapore-based business cloud enabler, Alpha7, has made two C-level appointments to its management team.

Joining Alpha7 is Brian Parkinson as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Kenneth Lim as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), who both have over two decades of experience across various roles in global IT organisations.

As the new COO, Parkinson will drive the company's day-to-day operations, as well as business development functions. Besides being responsible for business operations, he will also serve as the second-in-command to founder and CEO Lynette Seah. Prior to joining Alpha7, Parkinson has held various leadership roles at companies like Schneider Electric, Siebel Systems, Interwoven and JBA International.

Meanwhile, Lim is tasked with driving Alpha7's marketing and strategy functions. He was formerly the head of marketing for APAC at Anaplan. He has also held other technology roles at several Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft, and Trend Micro.

"Alpha7 is bringing cloud technology solutions to Singapore and regional businesses to help them drive productivity, enhance their global competitiveness and increase profitability. Bringing Brian and Kenneth on board as senior leaders in IT, operations and marketing, will bolster our go-to-market approach, helping Alpha7 take Fortune500-level technology efficiencies to the Asia Pacific SME and enterprise realms," said Seah.

"Outside of Singapore, APAC countries are adopting their own technology vision - the common theme being the rise and rise in the importance of technology in shaping Asia's future. There has never been a better time for small, medium and large enterprises to embrace cloud. With our strengthened management team and best of breed solutions, we are confident of providing the right platform, solutions and value," she added.
