SnapperNet, the data communication products distributor for IT service providers, has announced that it is bringing a range of NAS business storage solutions from Seagate Technology to New Zealand. SnapperNet will offer two ranges of NAS appliances, specifically aimed at the business market.
The first range is the Seagate Business Storage Server 4-bay NAS for Windows. Designed for offices or workgroups with up to 50 employees, this 4-bay NAS centralises storage to allow access and sharing of files from all computers within a business network. The second range is Seagate's 8-Bay and 4-Bay Rackmount NAS solutions. The 8-bay Rackmount NAS is a solution for businesses that demand performance for up to 250 employees, while the 4-bay Rackmount is designed for companies of up to 100 employees.
The Seagate NAS Business Storage family includes a three-year warranty and a subscription to a cloud backup service.
"SnapperNet is pleased to be in this significant position of working closely with Seagate to bring these solutions to the market," said Richard Paul, SnapperNet's director.
"The products are a great addition to our portfolio and to a reseller's range. They suit businesses of all sizes that require data storage. The space and cost savings in the datacentre will be one of the key differentiators for these NAS appliances." SnapperNet and Seagate will be training resellers on the new business NAS range on 29 April, 2014 in Albany. The training is open to existing SnapperNet resellers and new, as the company is looking to broaden its reseller partnerships for these products.
