KUALA LUMPUR, 12 APRIL 2011 - Malaysian communications provider Telekom Malaysia [TM] has opened a new feature in its services for small and medium enterprise [SME] members only.

TM executive vice president Shanti Jusnita Johari said the new feature, called Orange Lounge, was created as a complimentary place within its special focus portal, TMESME.biz, for registered members of TM SME networks. "Membership to the portal is free to all TM business customers who register their profile with TMESME.biz."

"Via TMSME.biz, we want to create a holistic sphere for our customers, not just from a business point of view but also a space for them to take full advantage of being a TM SME client," said Johari. "Via the Orange Lounge, TM SME customers will be able to enjoy reward and loyalty promotions, participate in contests and interact with other SME customers to build personal and professional relationships."

"In line with its exclusivity, Orange Lounge contains a great variety of rewards and promotions for members, including contests, discount vouchers, and much more," she said. "In addition, a directory listing of SME companies is made available to emphasise the Orange Lounge as an SME hub for members to build relationships and network with one another. This also gives an opportunity for customers to present their businesses and what they do through company profile listings."

"Aside from being an information communication technology (ICT) transformational catalyst for various consumer segments in Malaysia, TM SME has been especially focused on the SME community to ensure that small businesses grow locally and internationally," added Johari.
